Community creation, lets get it

Mutually Created Space

The mission statement for Actualize is, and will be, to create a space that encourages the artist, builder, and creators of the Pacific Northwest. Beyond that, the intention is to foster new relationships and friendships that strengthen our community and give way to new creation and a sense of pride and belonging to the place we have chosen to be our home. We want to empower people to develop new skills, change old habits, form strong bonds, and ultimately grow themselves.

Artists of all mediums are highly encouraged to reach-out if they want to get involved in showing their work or creating new work. This year Actualize will be introducing an Art Fund to put money aside for new projects by local artists, something that we will continue to grow in coming years.

Collaboration is the name of the game. It’s something that can be organized prior to the event, or something that can evolve out as the weekend progresses. Whether that comes out through cooking, dance, art, music, friendship, textile, meditation, poetry, lighting, or other unnamed forms we truly hope to see you show yourself on the prairie.

Much love, let’s get it.
